The HROA has issued its final criteria for the 2008 HROA Awards. Nominees and award winners will be honored at the Fourth Annual HROA Awards Gala in New York on April 16, 2008 at the New York Hilton & Towers in conjunction with HRO World New York.

“This year’s awards process will be the most representative and relevant program we’ve held to date,” said HROA Global Executive Director, Richard J. Crespin.  “The Awards Committee wisely chose to focus this year’s awards on relationship excellence, recognizing nominees for their mutual commitment to making HR transformation succeed.”

The criteria, available at http://www.hroassociation.org/file/3859/2008-awards-nomination.html, focus on the relationships between providers, advisors, attorneys, and their respective clients. The criteria also emphasize execution excellence: demonstrable success in driving outcomes and not just sizes of contracts.

“The Committee has done an outstanding job in overseeing this awards process and will ensure an open and transparent process for our industry,” said Crespin.  Committee members included Nancy Heir from Prudential, Andy Teng from HRO Today magazine, Hugh MacDonald previously of CIBC now with HRMacDonald Training & Development Inc., John Hindle from Accenture, Rosemary Collins from TPI, Michael Hogan from ADP, and Barbara Melby from Morgan Lewis.  “We thank the Committee for their continued service.”

Nomination submission is open to all and will close in mid-January 2008.  The Awards Committee will review each nomination to ensure it meets the Awards Criteria.  Final Nominations will be forwarded for a full vote of the current HROA membership by March 1, 2008.  Full details on the Awards Process can be found at: http://www.hroassociation.org/file/3858/2008-awards-criteria.html .

The HROA is the HRO industry’s only trade association open to buyers, provider, and advisors.
