Northgate Information Solutions subsidiary ARINSO has won a seven-year HRO deal from Cadbury Schweppes PLC to deliver HR systems and related services for its confectionery business. The deal is one of the largest in ARINSO’s history and will cover five continents in 68 countries, the company said. Financial terms and the number of employees covered were not disclosed.
The deal calls for ARINSO’s euHReka technology to create a single, SAP-based HR services platform to be completed in early 2010 and serve as the core global HRIS for Cadbury Schweppes.
“Cadbury Schweppes is a global blue-chip company and precisely the kind of business we envisaged working with when we acquired ARINSO this summer,” said Chris Stone, chief executive officer of Northgate Information Solutions. “Using the euHReka platform will allow the HR team at Cadbury Schweppes to deliver better quality information, support faster decision-making, and improve service, and I am delighted to have them on board. They join ARINSO’s already superb client list which includes such global businesses as Shell, Airbus, Exxon Mobil, Finnair, and Tetra Pak.”
The deal is the biggest for Northgate since acquiring ARINSO earlier this year. Company executives said they are still exploring how to position the merged companies in the global HRO market.
