Amplify Education’s “Impact and Inclusion Team” takes a strategic approach to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), both internally and externally. This approach is evident through their facilitation of DEIA workshops at national sales meetings twice a year, their active role in department retreats, and fostering inclusion and belonging through Amplify Education’s employee resource groups (ERGs). Even more, the “Impact and Inclusion Team” partners externally with local HBCUs and other community organizations to engage diverse talent.
By implementing DEIA training, workshops, and strategic annual objectives and key results, the team has helped scale DEIA efforts and promote psychological safety across the organization, which, in turn, has helped drive engagement and retention.
The team has established a foundation for continued DEIA success by creating scalable systems, including bi-monthly DEIA meetings with department leaders, including DEIA goals in regular business practices, and leading workshops during national sales meetings.
Through its work with Amplify Education’s ERGs, accessibility working group, DEIA council, and partnerships with HBCUs, the “Impact and Inclusion Team” has worked to create pipelines for diverse talent acquisition, expanding the company’s reach in underrepresented communities.
Amplify Education won the HRO Today Association North America Award for DEI Excellence (Mid-Market).
