HRO Today Association Update: Ending the Year Strong

I am pleased to report that the 2022 HRO Today Association Awards program received more nominations than ever before, demonstrating the tremendous work being accomplished in the HR community and the continued interest and growth of our awards program year-over-year.  From the hundreds of nominations received, the awards selection committee had to select just a few winners in the North America, EMEA, and APAC regions. Each region had upwards of nine company or team award categories and two individual award categories.

The North America and EMEA awards were announced at the HRO Today Association Conference & Awards held virtually on November 16th.  The APAC region awards were presented at a special ceremony in conjunction with the APAC Board of Advisors meeting on December 14.

All told, a total of 46 awards were bestowed upon deserving teams/companies and individuals from across the globe. While the award categories were consistent across all regions, in some cases, we announced more than one winner, based on industry or company size, where appropriate.  Click here to access the full list of winners.

With a renewed focus and the recent success of the HRO Today Forum EMEA, the Association has generated much interest from HR leaders in that region. We recently welcomed Miratech, PIMCO, and HTEC, all new EMEA-based members. We are committed to working with these new members and all of our EMEA members to broaden our focus and deliver meaningful member programs to support HR practitioners and service providers.

Our global board of advisors has grown as well.  Predrag Pivarski, head of talent acquisition for HTEC Group, joined our EMEA board, while Jill Chanin, senior vice president, head of sales for Sevenstep and Yvette Stortz, president, global talent acquisition for CVS Health, now sit on our North America board.

Our 2023 professional development calendar is under way and will address topics members have told us that they are focused on in the first part of 2023.  Our first program of the year will be an “HR Table Talk.”  Here, members come together around a virtual table, if you will, to openly discuss the challenges that are “keeping them up at night” and exchange advice.

The HRO Today Association is the premier networking and content community for advancing the human resources profession. By engaging in professional development opportunities and connecting with peers, members improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of their HR operations and service delivery.  If you aren’t yet a member, I encourage you to join to access timely content and discuss critical issues in real-time with like-minded professionals.
