Leveraging Key Strengths

As Shweta Dhall fills key roles at Infosys, she is dedicated to shifting the status quo, boosting time-to-hire, and driving employee referrals.

Shweta Dhall, senior associate lead of talent acquisition, corporate sales group (CSG), and business enabling functions (BEF) at Infosys, has spent much of the year hiring for CSG and BEF functions across Australia and New Zealand, and is focussed on improving the candidate experience while utilising her key strengths in talent acquisition, sales, and HR strategy.

Dhall has worked to change the status quo by hiring candidates—particularly for leadership positions—who are available in the market, rather than just those who are desired by the hiring team. This involves having difficult conversations with the team in helping them understand the market and must-haves for candidates.

 Additionally, Dhall has worked to drive the company’s employee referral programme across the APAC region and partnering with various schools to run mock interviews and guide students looking to enter the corporate workforce.

Under Dhall’s leadership, Infosys has:

  • successfully hired leaders and directors across functions like strategy, global alliance, sales, HR, and legal;
  • improved time-to-hire for all roles, including leadership positions; and
  • consistently hired close to 50% of candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.

Shweta Dhall, senior associate lead of talent acquisition, CSG, and BEF at Infosys, has won the HRO Today Association APAC Award for HR Excellence, Provider.
