Leveraging Feedback to Boost Engagement

AIPL has reduced early turnover, maintained diversity, and increased its HRIS usage globally by enhancing its employee feedback system.

AIPL has had a busy year. Its HR team has reduced early turnover to 0.2%, maintained 40% diversity, and increased its HRIS usage by 35% globally. In addition, the organisation has implemented AI technology to support its HR function, prioritising employee feedback to boost engagement with the technology.

To do this, the company revised its feedback system to include input from new hires, gathering anonymous feedback on their experiences and manager support. This initiative improved employee-manager relations and refined the company’s internal practices to reduce early turnover.

Additionally, the company enhanced its employer value proposition (EVP) with flexible work policies for new mothers, later extending them to fathers. Engagement during maternity leave was maintained via newsletters. This improved retention and helped maintain a 40% diversity ratio across the organisation.

During a global expansion, the HR team implemented an HRIS system across three locations in India. This challenge involved data migration, module testing, and managing time zone coordination. By standardising employee data, phasing module rollouts, and holding global meetings to ensure a smooth transition, AIPL was able to increase HRIS portal usage by 30% within three months, boosting efficiency and engagement.

In the future, AIPL will continue utilising idea workshops and data-driven improvements to foster innovation and explore AI use through its HRIS system. Because of this, AIPL won the HRO Today Association APAC Award for Best in Class: Innovation, Non-Technical (Small Market).
