Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming an essential tool for corporate social responsibility (CSR) leaders, helping them manage larger workloads, rising expectations, and increased scrutiny. A new survey from the Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (ACCP) and YourCause from Blackbaud finds that 73% of CSR teams at 135 major companies now use AI to streamline operations, boost efficiency, foster innovation, and amplify impact.
The sixth annual survey shows that nearly three-quarters (73%) of respondents say their teams are now using AI tools in their day-to-day work. The most common applications include:
- communications and storytelling (72%);
- productivity optimization (64%); and
- data analysis (37%).
“AI is not replacing the relationships and human expertise essential to social impact work, it’s enhancing them,” says Andrea Wood, president and CEO of ACCP. “CSR leaders are using AI to tell richer stories, analyze data faster, and link their work more directly to business priorities, accelerating the results they can deliver for both their companies and communities.”
