The HRO Today Association supports the learning and development of HR professionals around the globe. We are committed to providing our members with the opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team of HR practitioners and service providers to build relationships, share best practices, and advance the practice.
In addition to our Livestreams and HR Table Talks, the Association is launching an additional resource for our members: Knowledge Centers, special interest groups built on data, knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and collaboration. They are communities within the Association that bring together subsections of members based on their individual interests while complementing the Association’s activities. They offer additional benefits to members, like the opportunity to dive deep into topics of shared interest, in addition to volunteer leadership and speaking opportunities.
Current Knowledge Centers include talent acquisition and management and diversity, equity and inclusion. Studies show that satisfaction levels of Association members increase when they were able to meet regularly with other members over a shared interest and I am excited for them to engage in our new Knowledge Centers.
Our Professional Development calendar includes virtual opportunities to discuss and debate topics that are important to our members:
- 4/18 HR Table Talk “Talent Acquisition in Competitive Markets – The Importance of Building Your Brand from the Inside Out”
- 5/16 Livestream “The (Not-so) Secret Sauce – Building and Delivering a Successful Employee Wellbeing Program”
Led by industry thought leaders, lecturers, and members, Livestreams offer valuable insights members can use to assist them in their role. Unique to the HRO Today Association, HR Table Talks focus on delivering a virtual roundtable experience where members can discuss the challenges and issues “keeping them up at night.”
