As we move into the second half of the year, I continue to be encouraged by the level of engagement, openness, and shared learning taking place across the HRO Today Association community.
One of the clearest indicators of that momentum is the strength of our ongoing programming. Across our Third Thursday webinars and HR Bonus Briefings, members are not just attending—they are actively contributing to thoughtful, experience-driven conversations that reflect the realities of today’s talent landscape.
What continues to stand out is the consistency of one theme: Leaders are looking for practical clarity in an increasingly complex environment. Whether the topic is workforce strategy, leadership alignment, or emerging technology, the most valuable moments come when members share not just what’s working, but where challenges persist.
Community in Action
Our webinars consistently bring together a global audience, with members joining from across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This diversity of perspective is not just valuable—it is essential in understanding how challenges and solutions vary across regions.
Equally important is the practitioner-driven nature of our network. The majority of participants represent practitioner organizations, ensuring that conversations remain focused on execution, impact, and outcomes.
Engagement also spans the full leadership spectrum. From emerging leaders to senior executives, each session benefits from a balance of perspectives of those shaping strategy and those responsible for bringing it to life.
Opportunities to Connect and Be Recognized
Looking ahead, there are several meaningful opportunities to deepen your engagement with the community.
The HRO Today Forum EMEA, taking place Nov. 4–5 in Barcelona, will once again bring together senior HR leaders from across the globe. This year will also feature the live presentation of the HRO Today Association Awards, an opportunity to recognize the individuals, teams, and partnerships driving real impact across our industry.
Members, I encourage you to take part whether by attending, nominating a peer, or contributing to the conversations that define these events.
Final Thoughts
As we look ahead, a few reminders continue to stand out:
-
Showing up matters. The value of this community is realized through participation.
-
Progress happens through shared experience. The most impactful insights come from open, honest dialogue.
-
Connection drives momentum. The relationships built here extend far beyond a single session.
Thank you for your continued engagement and for the role you play in shaping this community. Your perspective, experience, and willingness to contribute are what make the HRO Today Association such a valuable and trusted network.
If you are not yet fully engaged, I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities ahead. And as always, please feel free to reach out to me directly to continue the conversation at Renee.Preston@SharedXpertise.com.
