I am pleased to announce that the HRO Today Association will recognize HR excellence when we reveal the winners of the 2022 HRO Today Association Awards on November 16th during the virtual HRO Today Association Conference. This ceremony recognizes leadership, collaboration, innovation, and hard work, as well as a commitment to people and process improvement. This year’s awards categories include: “HR Team of the Year,” “Innovation in HR Technology,” “Engagement Strategy Excellence,” and others. Now more than ever, recognition is critical to meaningful employee engagement, effective development programs, and a winning culture.
The theme for this year’s HRO Today Association Conference is: “Let’s Make A (HR) Deal” (or better – “Let’s Make the Most Successful Deal”). No HR department has the infrastructure or technology to operate in today’s crazy and changing world without service and technology partners. While the right partners help HR succeed, the wrong choices lead to failure. The HRO Today Association Conference helps bridge the gap for providers and practitioners. Join your peers as a panel of CHROs, Dr. Peter Cappelli, the director of the Wharton Center for Human Resources, and more answer these questions. Please click here for more information and to register.
Also, included with an HRO Today Association membership, are our virtual professional development programs that offer a convenient platform for members to share successes and lessons to create meaningful connections with peers facing similar challenges. Members leave with fresh perspectives, a stronger sense of community, and a reenergized outlook – all of which are essential to understanding and maximizing today’s unique HR opportunities. Next up is the livestream, “Making D and I Part of Our DNA,” on Friday, October 21st at 11:30 a.m. Association members, please visit our website to reserve your seat.
In addition to livestreams, our “HR Table Talks” provide a safe space for members of the HRO Today Association to discuss challenging issues. These are not slide-driven webinars, rather virtual conversations, connecting like-minded individuals in similar circumstances for advice and support. Recent “HR Table Talks” include “Harmonizing Your Workforce Strategy by Putting the Outcome First: The Universal Workforce Model™” and “Overcoming Recruitment and Retention Obstacles in Today’s Labor Market.”
If you aren’t yet a member, I encourage you to join to access timely content and discuss critical issues in real-time with like-minded professionals; improve the skills needed to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of your HR operations; and inspire others by sharing your knowledge and be inspired as you learn from others.
