Priyanka Taikar, chief people officer at VTEST Software, has implemented a series of initiatives aimed at aligning HR with the organisation’s overall strategy by engaging employees, streamlining processes, fostering an enabling culture, and driving performance. Â
Taikar has led the effort to implement flexible working days with working hours at VTEST Software. She did this by analysing and estimating goals and objectives before assigning flexible work to any employee and launching a performance management system focused on providing insights weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, and annually. Â
She has also spearheaded efforts to upskill and reskill the workforce, initiating training and development with certifications and live examples on different key skill sets. For the talent acquisition and recruitment team, Taikar implemented multiple platforms—many of which are AI and machine learning-enabled—to advance the team’s strategic goals. Â
Taikar plans to sustain this momentum by working more closely on performance analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, industry and competitive analysis, change management, digital transformation, and succession planning.Â
Priyanka Taikar, chief people officer at VTEST Software, won the HRO Today Association APAC Award for HR Leadership. Â
