Since joining Dayforce as its executive vice president and chief people officer, Amy Cappellanti-Wolf has led transformative HR initiatives that have resulted in improved employee well-being, engagement, and organizational culture.
These initiatives include the introduction of “refresh days” to prevent and address burnout, setting aside hours for uninterrupted work, and launching employee resource groups (ERGs) aimed at enhancing employee health, happiness, and belonging. These efforts have led to enhanced employee satisfaction, with most employees reporting more reasonable workloads and higher engagement. Cappellanti-Wolf’s approach, which involved stakeholders throughout the process, guaranteed strong support and reinforcement, which helped improve company-wide well-being.
By taking a comprehensive approach to employee well-being and integrating mental health support and work-life balance into Dayforce’s core business practices, Cappellanti-Wolf has helped improved employee retention and resulted in stronger trust between leadership and staff.
To sustain the momentum that these initiatives have garnered, the HR team has embedded this approach into the company’s organizational framework to ensure that well-being, engagement, and inclusivity remains central to leadership strategies and operations. For this reason, Amy Cappellanti-Wolf has won the HRO Today Association North America Award for HR Leadership (Large Market Provider).
