WorkWhile announced an expansion of their healthcare benefits program that provides immediate care to its employees.

It’s not atypical for healthcare benefits to be reserved for full-time or salaried employees, and even then, that care comes with a cost. WorkWhile—a workforce management platform—is trying something different and expanding its offer of free virtual healthcare to its hourly employees.
“By eliminating the requirement for a minimum number of hours or shifts worked, WorkWhile is fundamentally shifting how companies invest in the health, stability, and long-term wellness of the hourly workforce,” the company says in a press release.
The care will be provided by the new platform Curai Health, which offers:
- 24/7 on-demand access to care with board-certified clinicians;
- assistance for managing chronic conditions and preventive care; and
- access to mental health support and wellness resources.
Neal Khosla, CEO at Curai Health, says, “At Curai Health, we built this platform on the belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality care, not just those lucky enough to have traditional employer benefits … Partnering with WorkWhile to bring this experience to the entire hourly workforce is exactly the kind of scaled impact we exist to create. This is what it looks like when technology and purpose align.”
