Hewitt Associates Signs New HRO Client, Expands Relationship with Capgemini Energy LP

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. Hewitt Associates (NYSE: HEW), a global human resources
services firm, announced today it will provide HR business process outsourcing (BPO)
services to Capgemini, one of the worlds largest management and IT consulting firms.
Hewitt will provide services to Capgemini entities in the United States and Canada.

Beginning November 1, under a ten year agreement, Hewitt will provide HR BPO
services, including workforce administration, benefits, compensation, recruiting and
payroll to Capgemini employees in the United States and Canada. As part of the
agreement, Hewitt will hire approximately 40 Capgemini employees.

By the nature of our business, we already know how outsourcing can benefit an
organization, said Laurie Jadick, vice president and North America HR leader for
Capgemini. What we needed was an experienced provider with a proven delivery
model and capabilities to handle our very specialized HR needs, and we feel that
provider is Hewitt.

The arrangement marks an extension of Hewitts collaborative relationship with
Capgemini. In May, the firm announced it would provide HR BPO services to
TXU Corp. through an agreement with Capgemini Energy LP, a joint venture between
TXU and Capgemini. This collaborative arrangement facilitates Capgeminis go-tomarket
efforts with Hewitt Associates and was a major driver in the selection process
for Capgemini Energy LP.

Were very pleased to be able to expand our relationship with Capgemini, said Bryan
Doyle, HR outsourcing business leader, Hewitt Associates. To be one service provider
selected by another is especially significant for us and a true testament to our ability to
deliver. We have the HR content knowledge, the experience and the skills to serve
Capgemini and its employees.
