The HRO Today Forum is right around the corner and there is plenty to be excited about this year. HR is at an intersection and our 2026 theme, “H(R)evolution,” couldn’t be more fitting. Human capital management is continuous evolving due to constant uncertainty and increasing automation and HR needs to be one step ahead. The two-day conference will bring together senior HR leaders to “transform the HR landscape together” by idea and best practice sharing through our agenda of CHRO panels, think tank sessions, an open mic townhall, and CHRO one-on-one interviews.
I’m looking forward to my on-stage interview with Alex Kweskin, chief human capital officer of the IRS. Kweskin is currently experiencing a personal career evolution, moving from his former role of CHRO for the Banc of California to his current position overseeing HR for the IRS. While he will not be answering any tax questions, he will discuss his move from the private sector to the public sector, his tech-driven agenda, and several of today’s pressing issues, including RTO, leadership development, and company culture.

A personal highlight for me (as always!) will be co-hosting the annual CHRO of the Year Awards gala with Elliot Clark. In this issue, we feature some of the incredible work on this year’s finalists. Our new Manager of Content Strategy Gillian Manning captures how these HR leaders are forging new paths at their organizations. Get ready to be inspired!
Looking forward to seeing you in Philadelphia.
Until next time,
