How can you engage in the HRO Today Association?

Member Directory: Have you updated your profile in the Member Directory so that peers can find you? Make sure you mention areas of expertise AND those areas in which you are looking to improve to make your connections even more targeted!

Member Newsletter: The newsletter is a quick and easy way to stay updated on Association initiatives and activities. Members are invited to showcase thought leadership by submitting an article or links to existing resources. You can also get to know the member network on a more personal level by being the focus of our Member Profile (view past profiles here).
ACTION ITEM: Review the latest edition on our newsletter page and then send your content to (And don’t be shy – nominate yourself for the Member Profile while you’re at it!)

Professional Development Livestreams: These sessions offer a convenient platform for members to share success stories and make meaningful connections with peers who have experienced the same challenges. Members are invited to be participants and presenters.
ACTION ITEM: To participate in or view a livestream, review our livestream calendar. If you are interested in presenting a livestream (don’t be shy!), get details about formats, sample sessions, and other information here. General questions can be referred to

Featured Member Resources: Our featured content page is an online portal where existing content (so, no extra work!) can be published to expand the audience and increase visibility for the authors while also facilitating connections and best-practice sharing. We recommend repurposing blog posts, articles, white papers – items your team has generated that other HR professionals would find useful.
ACTION ITEM: It’s easy enough to submit content – just email it to to start the process.

Committees: Working on these groups can expand contacts and skill sets – the time commitment is minimal while the rewards can be great. Now is the perfect time to join one of these groups as they are tackling new projects and are recharged for the year.
