The 2021 HRO Today Association Conference took place virtually on November 17th, and I’m pleased to share we had over 100 HR leaders in attendance for this three-hour “micro event.” Speakers included Dr. Peter Cappelli, director of the Wharton Center for HR; Jeff Lackey, VP of talent acquisition for CVS Health; and a panel of CHROs from CalPortland, the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, and Somos.
Our “Professional Development Livestreams” continue to offer a convenient platform to share successes and lessons learned. It also allows members to connect with peers who are facing the same adversities. We are now developing the 2022 livestream calendar, and if you’re reading this and have experiences that you would like to share, please feel free to contact me directly. I’m very interested in understanding the issues and concerns on your mind so we can do our best to address them.
