Improving Recruiter Productivity

Infosys’ talent acquisition team has optimised its recruitment structure to maintain costs, reduce time-to-hire, and improve employee and candidate satisfaction over the past year.

Infosys’ talent acquisition team—which spans multiple countries throughout the APAC region—leverages a digital, responsive, and agile recruitment process. The recruitment team is dedicated to continuous development of its ATS to increase efficiency, improving representation of employees with disabilities, and enhancing the candidate experience with a focus on connection, collaboration, celebration, care, and culture.

Over the past year, the team improved recruiter productivity by changing the talent acquisition structure to optimise cost control, reducing time-to-hire. At the same time, employee satisfaction has risen by 6% from last year, and the company has achieved high candidate satisfaction and high pulse scores by more than 10% each quarter.

Recently, the talent acquisition team completed internal unconscious bias in hiring training to help educate recruiters and create awareness. Additionally, the team has established and implemented hiring guidelines focussed on reducing bias.

In the last 10 months, the team has focussed on branding, employee advocacy, DEI efforts, and automation wherever possible, optimising the company’s ATS with new features, including skills-based hiring and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the recruitment team has analysed and tracked hiring data from all regions to study candidate behaviour and help make informed hiring decisions and reduce time-to-fill for critical positions.

Because of that, Infosys Limited won the HRO Today Association APAC Award for Recruitment Team of the Year.
