STERLING, Va. (March 2, 2022) – CapRelo, a global employee relocation and assignment management firm serving private and public sector clients, has promoted Liz Simmons to vice president, Global Operations and International HR Compliance.
“Liz is an asset to our team and clients and this promotion recognizes her contributions and growing role,” explained CapRelo CEO Barry Morris. “She leads with strength and compassion and helps our international clients and their employees manage relocations during these challenging times.”
Simmons helps guide employers through the complexities of building strong relocation programs amid a backdrop of industry change. A recent CapRelo survey of HR professionals found that nearly two-thirds (62%) agree or strongly agree that their organization has a comprehensive talent mobility/relocation policy. However, the pandemic has prompted fundamental shifts for many businesses with respect to finding and placing talent. As COVID-19 continues to shape and strain the workforce and employers, most organizations -including those with strong policies -are updating relocation processes and policies. Simmons’ wealth of expertise ensures more clients navigate successfully through these challenges.
Simmons has been with CapRelo for nearly five years, last serving as director of operations. She manages a team of global mobility consultants in EMEA and APAC region to deliver operational excellence as well as operational/HR support for entities in the UK, India, and China. In her expanded role, she is responsible for the strategic planning, design, and delivery of services for global relocation and/or global compensation activities. She builds staffing plans and supports related training and coaching and talent development, optimizing performance and profitability while balancing HR compliance requirements for non-US locations.
Based in the UK, Simmons has more than 25 years of global mobility experience as both an in-house and outsourced partner. She holds her GMS qualification as well as has a master’s degree in HR and is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Prior to CapRelo she served in global mobility roles in Xerox, Motorola, and Arthur Anderson.
