HRO Today Association Update: Year-end Wrap-up

By Renée Preston

I am pleased to report the 2020 HRO Today Association Conference, held on November 17, had record attendance, with more than 100 participants coming together to hear the latest strategies for using technology to attract and retain talent. Attendees used our interactive platform to jump from virtual table to table during the breaks to network with their peers. HR leaders in attendance included chief HR officers and talent acquisition leaders from across North America and Europe.

A highlight of the conference was the presentation of the 2020 HRO Today Association Awards for North America and EMEA, hosted by Madison. I encourage you to visit the association website for a recap of the event and full list of award winners. I’d like to thank our sponsors for their support: Yoh, Pontoon, Madison, ISG, Resource Solutions, and Engage2Excel. I look forward to sharing our plans for next year’s conference in the coming months.

This past year, while filled with stress and uncertainty, also showcased just how essential HR professionals are, as well as the power and strength of the HR community. The HRO Today Association is dedicated to ensuring our members can connect with one another and our professional development opportunities virtually.
