The 2020 HRO Today Association Conference will take place November 17 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST. Finally, a virtual conference that doesnât sacrifice the networking experience!
The HRO Today Association Conference is a half-day HR retreat that brings Association members together to learn from each other and network. Non-members are welcome to roll up their sleeves and join us as we dive deep into this yearâs theme: the tech that enables HR and how leaders are preparing for whatâs next.
Attendees will be able to interact in real time by joining a table. This real-time, face-to-face interaction makes virtual networking feel natural and fun! A built-in virtual business card will help participants connect on other platforms and set up meetings after the event.
Participants will also be able to connect directly with speakers and get answers to their most pressing questions. This yearâs sessions will examine using technology to attract, engage, and retain the best talent. Dr. Peter Cappelli from the Wharton Center for HR at the University of Pennsylvania will join us, in addition to a panel of CHROs discussing âWhat the Future of Work Looks Like and Preparing for Whatâs Next.â
And, the highlight of our year: The annual HRO Today Association Awards for North America will be presented during the event. Please check the website for complete details and to registerâspots are limited!
The HRO Today Association continues to make professional development opportunities for our members a top priority. I encourage you to reserve your seat today for an upcoming 30-minute livestream session:
- October 13: âFuture of DEI: Making Inclusive Behavior a New Habitâ
- October 27: âOvercoming Complexity in Our World of Work, Part 2: Gaining Controlâ
- November 10: âFuture of DEI: How to Be a High-Impact, Visionary DEI Leader Over the Next Decadeâ
- November 17: âOvercoming Complexity in Our World of Work, Part 3: Delivering Simplificationâ
Finally, the HRO Today Association is pleased to invite you to our first Member Meet Up on December 10! This members-only Zoom get-together will help kick off the season of celebrating and giving thanks. After a trying year, we can all use some time dedicated to connecting with peers, talking about what we are thankful for, sharing an uplifting story, or even asking questions and seeking advice about a professional challengeâitâs YOUR time! So, grab your favorite beverage, choose a festive background (there will be a prize for the best one), and get ready to enjoy an hour with friends!
As always, Iâd like to thank our members for their continued participation and support. We are working hard to support you during these challenging times. I hope to see many of you on November 17 and at an upcoming livestream session.
