HRO Today Association Update: Let’s Talk!

By Renée Preston

I’d like to start by welcoming our new members, CVS Health and Wallace Foundation, to the HRO Today Association community! I’m also pleased to mention Hueman People Solutions has become the latest HRO Today Certified Provider. The HRO Today Certified Provider Certification indicates a provider has undergone evaluation and testing to verify they are a credible and trusted HR service provider. This is the most important form of certification in our industry, as it ensures customers have access to qualified service providers in the HR services and technology industry.

The Association continues to focus on connecting members to share best and next practices, and that’s why I’m excited to announce the launch of our new HR Table Talks series. This quarterly series provides a safe space for members to connect and have authentic and sincere conversations about sensitive topics. Attendance will be limited to create a feeling of closeness and security, and the sessions will not be recorded so participants can be completely open and honest when talking about their most pressing concerns.

Each discussion will be led by member facilitators, who will use predetermined conversation starters to guide the dialogue. When they register, participants will be asked to submit specific questions they would like to address during the session; the facilitators will ensure these are posed to the group as well. We invite Association members to join us for these truly interactive sessions that will leave attendees with refreshing new insights -and new contacts -to help them do their jobs better.

The first HR Table Talk will take place on Tuesday, March 16 at 3pm ET and will focus on diversity and inclusion. This session will be an open, honest, and intimate conversation about the often-sensitive topic of creating an inclusive and equitable culture. After getting to know each other via introductions, we will dive right into the discussion with the help of two member co-facilitators.

As I mentioned, we are keeping these sessions small, so I encourage you to reserve your spot today. The HR Table Talks Facebook group allows members to start the conversation early and keeps going far beyond the end of each session.

If you’re not a member, now is the perfect time to join. Please contact me for details. We can get you and your team set up and connected to helpful resources in no time.

I look forward to seeing members from across the globe come together on March 16th. Take care!
