MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (October 17, 2005) ¾ Workscape, Inc., a proven provider of outsourced benefits and workforce management solutions, today revealed details of its record-breaking third quarter. Year-over-year sales were up 136%, and set a company record for single-quarter production. The company cited its evolving award-winning product line which continues to attract new clients to the company, as well as a number of expanding customer relationships across a range of industries among its blue-chip, global clients, as the reasons for its achievement.
In the third quarter of 2005, joining Workscape’s growing client roster was one of the largest grocery store chains in the nation. The grocery store chain will deploy Workscape’s Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service workflow applications. This noteworthy addition comes only one month after Workscape announced another list of significant new customer wins and relationship expansions that included industry leaders such as Perot Systems, Alltel, AmSouth Bank, Texas Health Resources, and other major organizations such as a large travel industry company and a division of a global electronics company.
Tim Clifford, President and CEO of Workscape, said, “Our third quarter success further propels Workscape to the forefront of the market, validating our workforce’s capabilities, the relevancy of our product offerings and our commitment to exemplary customer support.”
Additionally, many existing customers decided to enhance the current Workscape solutions already in use to improve workforce performance. The well-known companies that expanded their existing relationships with Workscape include Perot Systems, a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions, one of the world’s largest developer and manufacturer of advanced information technologies, a global defense company that provides an array of technologically advanced, innovative products, services and solutions in systems integration, defense electronics, information technology, advanced aircraft, shipbuilding, and space technology, and the North American and U.K. regions of an international confectionery and beverage company.
Perot Systems has enhanced the Workscape OneForce™/Enrollment they already benefit from, allowing employees to more effectively manage their own benefits enrollment processes and update benefit elections via Workscape’s intuitive user interface. The other global organizations enhanced their current award-winning Workscape OneForce/Compensation solutions to increase functionality and continue to drive their compensation decision-making and pay-for-performance processes.
Clifford commented, “We’re pleased to welcome these new companies to our growing client roster and are gratified by the expanded relationship with our existing clients. Their confidence in us and, overall, our strong momentum, reflects the market readiness of our offerings and puts Workscape in a favorable position as we enter 2006. I’m confident we’ll be making similar record-breaking announcements in the new year.”
