TalentTrack, a national recruitment process management firm, has been chosen under a multi-year agreement to help Tenet Healthcare Corporation develop an efficient, consistent, and centralized physician recruitment process to support its targeted and aggressive growth initiatives
The contract gives TalentTrack complete end-to-end responsibility for all physician recruitment functions, including third-party vendor management, for each of Tenet’s 52 hospitals. The centralized approach will include performance benchmarks and has common standards across the system. TalentTrack’s focus is to ensure that there are immediate, dedicated resources and a seamless process to recruit upwards of 300 physicians a year. Because the market for physician manpower is highly
competitive, TalentTrack is responsible for building an internal candidate database as well as providing documentation and tracking of all recruitment activity to improve existing processes.
TalentTrack has provided recruitment process management services to Tenet Healthcare since the beginning of 2006.
"We are extremely excited to have this opportunity to expand our partnership with Tenet and to play a very important role in helping them achieve their business objectives," said Mark Melfi, executive vice president, TalentTrack. "Our solution is designed to develop, implement, streamline, and measure a complete talent management process, which will enable Tenet to locate, attract, hire, and retain the top physicians in the market."
Tenet Healthcare Corporation owns and operates more than 50 acute care hospitals and other related healthcare services in communities across the country. The company has an employment base of 78,000 and generates $9.9 billion in net operating income.
