Wayne, Pa-based Kenexa, a provider of talent acquisition and retention services, has acquired Denver-based Knowledge Workers, Inc, which has nearly two decades of experience providing HR consulting and technology-based services to government clients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Knowledge Workers has the expertise in staffing and human capital management in the government sector, while Kenexa has an established foothold in the commercial sector,” said Rudy Karsan, Kenexa’s CEO. “With the impending labor shortage in the public sector, talent acquisition and retention solutions will become increasingly important. We anticipate that Knowledge Workers’ existing relationships in the federal government sector will better enable Kenexa to enter this key vertical market.”
Kenexa provides outsourcing, employee research, and software to help organizations recruit and retain workforce talent. Its services include applicant tracking, onboarding, employment process outsourcing, phone screening, skills and behavioral assessments, structured interviews, performance management, multi-rater feedback surveys, employee engagement surveys and HR Analytics.
