N-able utilises recognition programmes, DEI initiatives, wellness programmes, and feedback to enhance its company culture.

N-able’s approach to positive workplace culture focuses on ensuring every employee understands their voice is heard, their work makes a difference, and that they belong to a workplace that welcomes and values them for who they are. Through the company recognition programmes, DEI initiatives, communities of interest (COI), wellness programmes, continuous learning, and community giving, N-able’s culture is rooted in its core values.

The organisation also provides multiple ways for employees to share feedback, whether through formal question-and-answer sessions with leadership or through an informal idea mailbox. Twice a year, the company runs its “N-ablite Engagement Survey” to collect feedback to help shape its culture and experience. The company’s 2022 survey saw significant year-over-year increases in survey participation, engagement, and DEB.

When it comes to DEB, N-able focuses on its COI program supporting LGBTQIA employees, female employees, and employees of color, lessening the representation gap in tech through corporate giving, and funding educational opportunities for underrepresented communities in STEM.

“With N-ablites from almost 15 countries around the globe, we’re committed to working together to create a culture where we can contribute different perspectives, backgrounds, cultures, and experiences,” says Kathleen Pai, chief people officer at N-able. “Our ongoing goals include empowering our N-ablites to bring their authentic selves to work; encouraging diverse perspectives; and ensuring the N-ablite experience reflects our values. We’re committed to taking continuous action so N-ablites feel welcomed, recognized, and respected.”

N-able was recognised with the HRO Today Association’s APAC Award for Best in Class: Employee Experience.
