The HRO Today Services and Technology Association is a global association of HR executives, thought leaders, and industry experts working as practitioners, providers, and analysts. Last month, the HRO Today Forum held in Chicago, provided an excellent opportunity for our members and each of the forum delegates to participate in great conversations and best-practice sharing. The association allows you to continue these actions daily. In Chicago, we gathered to recognize our colleagues, peers, friends, competitors, and customers for their accomplishment and success in the human resources industry at the HRO Today Awards Gala.
The theme of this year’s event was Be Connected! – Technology, Services and Leaders Unite. We’re faced with choices every day about how we connect with our audience, and in some cases, we are defined by these choices. Our colleagues, employees, customers, the media, analysts, and competitors make judgements based on the voice we use. At this year’s award program, we recognized the members of our association who have not only succeeded in communicating their value, influence, and capabilities, but have also successfully connected with their audience. Their hard work, dedication to the industry, and ongoing interest in best-practice sharing and learning is a testament to their success. Our members, the finalists, and the award winners continue to motivate their teams, their customers, and others in the industry.
This year, we encouraged companies to submit nominations for awards listed in four categories -HR strategy, HR practices, HR partnerships, and individual success -and to share their stories about connecting successfully in business. Connection is the energy created between great companies, great people, and great technology. All finalists demonstrate this energy in their industry and in how they operate every day.
