Attention Members: You’re invited to our first-ever virtual Member Meetup!
Please join us for the HRO Today Association Member Meetup, a virtual get-together that will celebrate association members as we kick off the season of giving thanks.
The past year, while filled with stress and uncertainty, also showcased just how essential HR professionals are, as well as the power and strength of the HR community. Now, we can all use some downtime to connect with peers, share what we are thankful for, and discuss highlights from 2020 as we prepare for what 2021 has in store.
Plan to join us on Thursday, December 10 at 4pm ET. Grab your favorite beverage, choose a festive Zoom background (there will be prizes!), and get ready to relax and enjoy an hour with friends. Activities will include:
- Participant Round Robin: Introductions and share your thankfulness
- 2020 Research Recap with Larry Basinait, Vice President of Research, HRO Today/SharedXpertise and Zachary Misko, Global Executive Director Emeritus, HRO Today Association
- Would You Rather: Answer some unexpected questions with an HR twist!
- 2021 Plans and Priorities: Preparing for what’s next
There is no fee, but you do need to reserve your seat on the association website.
As I’ve mentioned before, the association is dedicated to ensuring our members can connect with one another and our professional development opportunities virtually. One of the most effective ways to improve operations is to learn and apply the best practices of master practitioners. Backed by the reputation of HRO Today, the association curates a menu of professional development opportunities led by HR thought leaders and delivered in convenient formats designed for today’s executives.
Our Director of Membership Services Wendy Metzgar continues to do an amazing job delivering top-notch speakers for monthly livestream sessions that address the most pressing topics facing HR professionals today. Help Wendy with future programming by submitting a session proposal. Share the details of a winning initiative or talk through how a challenging situation was conquered. She’d love to hear from you! Contact her today at email@example.com.
As always, I’d like to thank our members for their continued participation and support. I look forward to the Member Meetup on December 10!
