State of Georgia Awards Hewitt Benefits Contract

Hewitt Associates said it will provide flexible benefit administration services to approximately 130,000 Georgia state employees under a contract announced this week. It will also provide Your Total Rewards, a personalized, online solution that gives employees a real-time summary of the total value of their pay and benefits, to 80,000 State of Georgia employees. Terms of the accord were not disclosed.

“With their demonstrated leadership position in outsourcing and unparalleled technology, it was clear that Hewitt was the right HR partner for our organization,” said Steve Stevenson, commissioner for the State of Georgia State Personnel Administration. ”Hewitt’s benefits outsourcing solution will enable us to deliver a high-quality customer service experience to our participants. The platform will also allow us to easily provide employees with additional services in the future.”
