The Hertz Corporation has selected Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. to provide learning process outsourcing services to meet Hertz’ human resource transformational objectives on a global basis.
“ACS has a proven reputation of helping companies transform their workforces through learning,” said LeighAnne Baker, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Hertz. “As Hertz moves toward becoming an employer of choice, ACS Learning Services will enable us to rapidly evolve our organization through the accelerated development of our employees, which is central to ensuring Hertz’ continued leadership in a tightly competitive market.”
Under the five-year contract, ACS will provide curriculum redesign and management as well as content development and delivery; learning administration; managed learning technology and vendor management within a shared services environment. The contract was reflected in ACS’ fourth quarter fiscal year 2008 results.

Our services for designing, building, implementing and operating large-scale, multi-lingual learning solutions will enable Hertz to realize immediate and long term cost savings and business value.”
Hertz, realigning its HR services, also recently announced that it was turning over a significant portion of its recruitment services to CDI and Spherion.
