ACS Wins BPO Contract for Health Plan Administration Services With Celtic Insurance Company

DALLAS, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., (NYSE: ACS), a premier provider of business process and information technology outsourcing solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a business process outsourcing (BPO) contract with Celtic Insurance Company, a provider of individual health insurance plans.

ACS will provide a full range of health plan administration services, including customer service; mailroom; claims adjudication and payment; member enrollment and billing; finance; system integration; and underwriting support. This contract expands ACS’ health insurance provider client base. ACS will deliver services from its Indianapolis, Indiana, healthcare services facility.

ACS’ online-Healthplan(R) technology platform is the foundation of its BPO solutions for Celtic. The proprietary system is an integrated, interactive managed care transaction application that provides Web-based internal and external customer user interfaces, as well as imaging and workflow services.
