As compensation and benefits supervisor of Parkville Pharmaceuticals Egypt, Hawanem Omara provides strategic guidance to the company’s management team, offering valuable insights on a wide range of HR initiatives, including compensation, benefits, and total rewards. Her contributions have resulted in improved employee satisfaction, productivity, and a positive work culture.
In her role at Parkville Pharmaceuticals Egypt, Omara implemented a range of total rewards practices and initiatives, including comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies. To obtain buy-in from stakeholders, Omara conducted research, presented data-driven insights, and showcased the potential benefits of these practices.
Omara initiated an employee wellness programme that focused on promoting physical and mental well-being among employees. As a result, employee engagement and satisfaction increased, and there was a noticeable improvement in overall employee health, job security, and well-being. She also implemented a comprehensive benefits program for gender equality, increasing the diversity of different employees’ backgrounds within the organisation.
The programmes that Omara implemented have resulted in improved employee well-being, increased diversity and inclusion, enhanced leadership capabilities, and higher employee satisfaction.
Hawanem Omara was recognised the HRO Today Association’s EMEA Award for HR Excellence, Healthcare/Pharma.
