Red Sea Global’s recruitment team has incorporated global best practices to significantly grow the organisation and drive innovation.

Red Sea Global’s recruitment team has made a significant impact on the organisation since it was founded in 2018. The company implemented various initiatives to drive recruitment innovation and achieve outstanding results, including employer branding, candidate experience design, DEI efforts, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of technology. Â
Efficiently scaling recruitment for the rapidly growing organisation has not been without its challenges, particularly when it comes to Red Sea Global’s diverse hiring needs. To overcome those challenges, the company worked to centralise its talent acquisition function, integrated new technologies, and promoted its diverse hiring practices. Â
By incorporating global best practices, the team centralised its talent acquisition function, implementing gamification and video interviewing, and established an employee referral programme, all of which have led to significant positive outcomes. The company has contributed to growing the talent acquisition team, promoted more than 30 employees, delivered 5,200 hires over five years, hired from 77 countries, and hired more than 250 people per month in 2023. Â
To ensure the sustained success of their initiatives, the team will closely monitor relevant metrics, gather feedback, and adjust as needed. This includes further AI integration to minimise bias, enhance decision-making in recruitment, and ensure that their recruitment processes remain at the cutting edge of the industry. Â
Red Sea Global won HRO Today Association’s EMEA Award for Recruitment Team of the Year. Â
