HRO Today Association January/February Update

The HRO Today Association supports the learning and development of HR professionals around the globe. The Association offers virtual opportunities to support the learning and development of HR and talent acquisition staff to connect with their peers to learn, get advice, and offer support: 30-minute Livestreams, HR Table Talks, and Knowledge Centers.

Member News

Please join me in welcoming our newest members: Automation Anywhere, Bright Horizons, and SPS. Nancy Hauge, chief people experience officer of Automation Anywhere, and Melkeya McDuffie, CHRO of Bright Horizons, have both joined C-TEN, the CHRO Today Executive Network.

As we kick off 2024, the HRO Today Association encourages members to actively participate in shaping the future of our community by joining one of our committees. Reflecting upon last year’s collective success, our committee members played a pivotal role in developing and enhancing membership programs and services, including the launch of new programmes like the Recipes for Success Livestream Series, Knowledge Centers, an Ambassador Program, and the forthcoming HR Buyer Toolkit.

The Association has two standing committees in 2024 that are ready to embark on an array of initiatives: “Membership Resources & Engagement Committee” and “Standards & Practices.” By volunteering to serve on a committee, you not only contribute to the development of our association but also elevate your professional journey.

Ask yourself: Do you seek ideas for developmental goals, whether for your team or yourself? Are you passionate about networking, continuous learning, and best practices? Do you aspire to make a significant impact and boost your reputation within the industry? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, then serving on an HRO Today Association committee could be a great fit. To learn more, visit our Committee webpage.

Showcase Your Thought Leadership

Many Association members have experiences and expertise within HR that can make for a compelling professional development programme. Don’t keep it to yourself! Showcase your knowledge by presenting a Livestream or facilitating an HR Table Talk in 2024. Not only do you enhance others’ knowledge and give back to the Association, but you also increase your presence amongst the HR community. Simply complete our quick call for speaker form, identify a potential topic or two, and upon successful review, staff will reach out to set up the event.

If you are not yet a member, I encourage you to join us to support your continuous learning and development. Association membership ensures your team is consistently honing the skills needed to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of their operations. Please contact me at
