2015 Second Quarter revenue increases to record high $350 million
The second quarter results of AMN Healthcare Services have demonstrated an efficient quarter. Consolidated revenue was $350 million, an increase of 40 percent from the same quarter of last year and a 7 percent increase sequentially.
Second quarter gross margin of 31.4% was higher by 60 basis points than the same quarter last year and higher by 40 basis points sequentially. The year-over-year gross margin improvement was driven by an increased revenue mix of higher-margin workforce solutions businesses. Gross margin of 31.4% represented an improvement of 60 basis points year-over-year and 40 basis points from the prior quarter.
The Company expects consolidated third quarter 2015 revenue of $360 to $365 million. Gross margin is expected to be 31.0% to 31.5%. SG&A expenses as a percentage of revenue are expected to be approximately 22.0%, which includes integration-related expenses of approximately $0.7 million.
