As vice president of organizational capability at Coca-Cola Consolidated, Todd Miller has spent the last several years steering the organization through the myriad challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent shifts in the labor market.

As candidate experience has emerged as a pivotal component of the recruitment process, Miller optimized the company’s talent acquisition technology and equipped his recruitment team with tools they could harness to increase the speed of the hiring process. His assessment of these technologies and their return on investment equipped him with insights and data, enabling him to secure support and approval from company leadership and its users, leading to a 100% adoption rate.

Miller uses informal and formal communications to facilitate smooth integration of technology into the company’s HR processes and support continuous development and improvement.

For the last several years, Miller has worked to cultivate partnerships with UNC Charlotte employees, promoting an organizational culture that is aligned with Coca-Cola Consolidated’s overall goals. These include collaborating with UNC Charlotte’s business schools to build and enhance leadership programs. Over the past two years, this partnership has included 320 leaders. Miller’s overall goal is to delineate clear career paths for emerging leaders.
