An inside look at the latest offerings in ERP-based human resources management systems.

By HRO Today Staff

Every few years, the HRO industry begins to describe a new generation of HRO deals. Technology generations occur every two to three quarters.  HRMS technology has evolved far past the simple early concepts of unifying information into single databases. The concept of employee and manager self-service portals has made the HR data collection and management process ubiquitous within large companies and facilitated globalization.

As the new generations of HRMS technologies arise, HRO providers and global companies with multiple divisions seek true multi-tenancy capability.  Integration with partners who can support multi-language and regulatory needs for processes such as global payroll management, as well as HRMS in a “software as a service” or SaaS model offering.  In this issue, we check in on the newest generation of HRMS techology, based on a multi-question survey sent to vendors.
