That technology has radically altered the human resources profession is a given. And it continues to alter the practice of human resources every day. Indeed, technology itself is changing every day.

As a practical matter, gadgets don’t affect how people think and how they manage. But systems and their supporters—cloud-based data storage and Software-as-a-Service providers—really can affect the structures of every day work. Their innovations can manifestly shift philosophy and operational models. They can disrupt and/or elevate an enterprise.

These are the innovations that we recognize as deserving of the HR TekTonic Awards.
The winners were determined by a process that included a written customer feedback survey, evaluations from industry analysts and independent third parties, and a review of each vendor’s software functionality. They were awarded in May at the HRO Today Forum in Las Vegas.

(Note: The 2010 awards were presented in December, so a review of the market for the 2012 TekTonics will happen next Spring.)
