The InterContinental Hotels Group has outsourced HR services to Convergys Corporation under a six-year contract. Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
The deal will support the Asia-Pacific region of InterContinental. Convergys service centers in Bangalore, India; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Dalian, China will provide HR data administration and payroll services for IHG corporate and reservations center employees in the region.
IHG is the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms with recognizable hotel brands such as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites.
