Caliber Point Business Solutions Ltd., a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service provider and a Hexaware Technologies subsidiary, today announced the launch of Republic – their multi-tenant HR services delivery solution. Built on the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, this ready to use platform will cater to multiple clients under a secure and shared environment. This launch will identify Caliber Point as one of the first BPO service providers in India and one of the few in the world to provide a complete platform-based BPO service.
Significantly reducing the investment required for achieving this kind of HR transformation within an organization, Republic is hosted and maintained by Caliber Point and comes with a user-friendly and secure HR Portal. Because it lowers deployment time and is easy to implement, HR professionals can dedicate more time to strategic HR tasks.
“Republic will be a strong brand entry into the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) segment coupled with BPO offerings, because it is based on Oracle, which is becoming an increasingly important HR platform,” said Lowell Williams, Executive Director of Global Human Resources Services at EquaTerra, a global sourcing advisory firm. “A multi-tenancy platform allowing for a degree of client-specific configuration will be an exclusive yet tenable offering in the market. Currently, this level of flexibility will not be found in many other products in the marketplace.”
Catering to the immediate need in the market place, Republic is based on a Per Employee Per Month (PEPM) pricing model, further supporting an organization’s demand for a cost-effective solution. Republic also offers a flexible pricing model for software licensing combined with BPO services.
“As a leading HRO player and with proven expertise, Caliber Point’s offering with Republic will serve organizations globally,” said R U Srinivas, CEO, Caliber Point. “We are confident to get the ‘early mover’s’ advantage with Republic, since it will greatly enhance our overall HRO delivery capability.”
“Republic is a winning combination of Caliber Point’s HR process excellence and Oracle’s state-of-the-art software,” added Tibor Beles, Vice President of Business Process Outsourcing for Oracle. “Republic is a truly innovative HR service addressing head-on, the challenging demands of mid-sized enterprises. Both Caliber Point and its customers will benefit from an unprecedented economy of scale driven by the multi-tenant environment in Republic. Moreover, it will effectively enforce a degree of standardization that not only enables reduced implementation and maintenance costs, but accelerates new customer on-boarding and more frequent innovation, as well.”
Republic empowers employees through the platform’s self-service program. This in turn enables HR managers to focus on value adding activities like employee engagement, training and retention. It further provides an integrated solution for the spectrum of HR services like administrative HR activities, compensation, payroll, employee benefits, regulatory reporting and HR analytics.
Caliber Point plans to initially target mid-sized companies with a workforce ranging from 2000-15,000 employees with Republic and then scale up gradually. The primary services sector could include Healthcare, Travel, Logistics, Hospitality, Media, Telecom, Entertainment and Financial Services as well as traditional verticals like Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Caliber Point has a strong legacy of Oracle and PeopleSoft implementation. Its parent company, Hexaware Technologies Ltd., has been one of the leading implementers of PeopleSoft globally. The company has a successful relationship with Oracle under the ‘BPO Powered by Oracle’ model and has implemented similar solutions for clients on single-tenancy model. With a large pool of certified technology and domain professionals, bundled services and innovative business models, the company has garnered operational excellence in delivering ‘stand-alone’ and extensive HR solutions.
