ADP Deliver Comprehensive Payroll to 100,000 Sodexo U.S. Employees

ADP Employer Services said it will deliver payroll and HR-related services to Sodexo Inc.’s 100,000 U.S.-based employees through its Comprehensive Outsourcing Services. Terms of the deal, which includes an end-to-end payroll solution that includes processing, administration, and service center support, were not disclosed.

According to Sodexo, a provider of integrated food and facilities management services worldwide, its decision to outsource to ADP was based on its need for domain expertise to support all of its U.S.-based employees while complementing and integrating with Sodexo’s broader HR initiatives. This included interacting with Sodexo’s proprietary time and labor management (TLM) system, which captures time details from more than 9,000 business units every pay period.

“We needed to outsource our HR functions to a company with deep domain expertise and one that could serve as a strategic, consultative vendor. We felt ADP built their solution for companies just like ours,” said Peri Bridger, chief HR officer at Sodexo. “ADP helps us manage the payroll needs of 100,000 employees while handling complicated compliance issues that require proven technologies and expertise.”

ADP COS delivers a range of HR solutions to organizations with more than 1,000 employees. “This was a great opportunity for ADP to provide a focused suite of COS solutions and also help Sodexo to maximize their existing infrastructure investments,” said Regina Lee, president of ADP’s National Account Services, which oversees COS. “Our relationship with Sodexo highlights the unique scalability and expertise that ADP brings to the HR BPO marketplace, and we are thrilled to be moving forward with such a strategic and supportive client.”
