2024 Membership Survey Results Are In!

Thank you to the many members who completed the 2024 Association Membership Survey. The feedback received will be integral to our future development of programs, resources and engagement initiatives. Survey highlights include:

  • Member engagement increased over the past year, with 61.7% identifying as moderate or highly engaged compared to 53.5% in the 2023 survey
  • Access and usage of member communications increased across all platforms, including a 9.5% increase in the monthly newsletter.
  • A high percentage of respondents identified both Best Practice Sharing (86.4%) and Personal/Professional Growth (72.7%) as the most valuable benefits of membership.

In addition to these highlights, one of the most important takeaways for the organization is the growing interest in on-demand programming and resources. There was a significant increase in preference for the on-demand library (65.2%, an increase of 13% from 2023) with a similar level of decrease for live programs (60.9%, a decrease of 12% from 2023). These results and more will accelerate the organization’s efforts to develop more on-demand offerings of content in conjunction with the Member Resources and Engagement committee’s 2024 initiatives.

Introducing the HR Buyer Resource Toolkit

With deep industry expertise in HR and Outsourcing, as well as focused functional knowledge about successful partnerships and customer satisfaction, the HRO Today Association has just added the HR Buyer Resource Toolkit to its list of member benefits.

This new resource offers aid for HR professionals seeking, or already engaged in, contractual agreements with HR services and technology providers. It contains guidance and tools for each stage of the partner selection process, including Discovery, Evaluation/Assessment, Selection, and Implementation. For established partnerships there are lifecycle and general management resources, including Governance and Program Management. Many resources have actual examples and templates available for even greater guidance and understanding.
