Committee Projects Get Underway, Volunteer Opportunities Still Available

HRO Today Association Committees have hit the ground running in 2023; already meeting as a full committee in February and conducting project team meetings earlier this month.

The Member Resources and Engagement committee has established two project teams, one to focus on the Awards program and how to extend its value and create a resource for members. A second project team is actively working towards increasing member awareness, participation and involvement.

The Standards & Practices committee has also identified two projects. The first active project is to establish a HR Buyer Toolkit to provide resources to help practitioners with evaluation, selection, implementation and program management of outsourced HR service and technology provider programs. Once the toolkit is further along, a second project team will begin to focus on developing a Standards Board to help ensure that a minimum level of performance is maintained and that organizations are practicing in a manner that meets an established code of ethics for the [outsourcing] industry.

Psst…A New Member Benefit is Coming Soon

The HRO Today Association will be launching its newest member benefit soon – Knowledge Centers. These are communities within the Association that will bring together subsections of members based on their individual interests and focus, while complementing the Association’s activities. At launch, there will be two Knowledge Centers: Talent Acquisition/Management and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Whether you’re an HR veteran or starting out in the field, the Knowledge Centers will be a great opportunity for members to learn from each other and connect with like-minded individuals.
