During a time of challenging market conditions immediately following the pandemic, Lorenzo Claridy, vice president and global head of recruitment at GSK, spearheaded a major transformation in the company’s history. He led a business separation within the pharmaceutical industry, supporting a newly created consumer healthcare company while also leading GSK’s talent acquisition function.
He did this primarily by adopting an agile way of working, evolving the company’s talent acquisition function from a transactional model to a hybrid model. He also delivered business project aligned with the release of vaccines and medicines supporting infectious disease patients, HIV patients, respiratory disease patients, and oncology patients.
During the second quarter of 2023, Claridy filled 101 roles, supported pipeline projects, and launched a digital employee experience dashboard. As the company enters 2024, Claridy has offered guidance, shared opportunities, and provided strategic input to support the company’s goals.
Claridy was recognized with the HRO Today Association’s North America Award for HR Excellence, Biotech.
