The stage is set for the HRO Today Forum APAC – an annual highlight for HR leaders and professionals in the Asia Pacific region. This year’s forum, which follows the theme “the Talent Cloud: the Convergence of HR and Technology,” will take place 15 and 16 June in Singapore.
As always, the forum will present the latest trends in HR services, technology and analytics, offer networking opportunities with leading HR thinkers and practitioners in the APAC region, and allow attendees to discuss their own experiences. Delegates include the leaders of HR and HR operations, recruitment and talent, change management, payroll and learning from large and midmarket companies. Sponsors include the most prominent providers, technology firms, and advisors in HR outsourcing, technology, and consulting.
The theme phrase “Talent Cloud” represents the integral nature of technology to HR and to the relationship between employee and employer. It is the hope of HR professionals that what “falls out” of the talent cloud is the best possible workforce with the highest possible productivity.
The talent cloud and the ability to use ever-changing cloud technologies are more crucial than ever. This theme will reveal the ways HR executives can leverage cloud, mobile, and social technologies and use them to attract talent and engage employees in an HR environment.
Elliot Clark, CEO of the HRO Today Forum, discusses the event and where it takes place.
“The challenges of APAC are unique (even the term is misleading as “APAC” refers to dozens of countries, cultures and languages) and we are excited to host the debate on the best HR practices and technologies that have been successful for companies in APAC and the other regions of the world where the HRO Today Forum gathers top HR leaders,” he says.
Along with the much-anticipated annual HRO Today Services & Technology Association (STA) Awards Gala, the APAC event will also include a presentation by Futurestep on “Managing Global Recruitment Programmes” as well as a professional development session by leading RPO partner Cielo. Also on the agenda is a presentation by Wendy Tan, a founding partner of Flame Centre, who will discuss the future of workplace learning and use of technology for deep learning.
Zachary Misko, Global Executive Director of the HRO Today Services and Technology Association, encourages attendees to learn and network at the forum by participating in its many events.
“Aligning with this year’s theme of technology within HR, we are pleased to announce the first iTalent segment in the region. This competition between new companies and/ or technologies within the HR and Outsourcing space is an exciting addition to an already outstanding agenda to learn, network and share at The HRO Today APAC Forum,” he says. “As well, the second annual HRO Today Awards Gala being held the first evening will recognize leaders and innovators within our industry to round out a truly great conference.”
