Make a Difference at HRO Today Association – Join a Committee

Like many associations, HRO Today Association relies on the great work of our committee member volunteers to help in the development of membership programs and services.  A seat on a committee supports our member’s professional development and raises their profile in the community.  It also serves as a personal forum for best practice sharing, networking, learning, and leadership.

Currently, HRO Today Association has two standing committees: Standards and Practices; and Membership Resources and Engagement Committee. Each are now accepting new volunteers as they begin their 2023 work.

As you consider volunteering for a committee, ask yourself:

  • Do you manage people and need ideas for their developmental goals or maybe even your own?
  • Do you enjoy networking, learning new things and finding out how others in your role/industry work?
  • Are you interested in making a great impact and building your reputation within the industry?

We Want to Hear from You! – Quarterly Member Surveys Launch January 24th

The HRO Today Association is always striving to be better. A key component of this effort is receiving consistent quality feedback from you, our members. While in year’s past we’ve sent one large membership survey, we have opted to be nimbler in 2023 and send out smaller quarterly surveys of just a few questions around a particular area of membership.

Members will receive the first 2023 quarterly survey on Tuesday, January 24th with a focus on professional development. As an incentive, those who complete the brief 1-minute survey will have a chance to win a $25 Amazon Gift card.
