Louisville, Ky.- September 8, 2021– In the continued effort to revolutionize healthcare,
Signature HealthCARE remains committed to sustaining, supporting, and strengthening one of our most important assets: our healthcare heroes and stakeholders. Our heroic frontline staff has been challenged on every side this past year and a half, and their resilience and stamina are a credit to their dedication and unwavering loyalty to their calling. We are resolved to protect that dedication and couldn’t be more excited to announce a significant addition toward that cause within our Human Resource team. Signature HealthCARE welcomes Louisville native, Kawel B. LauBach, as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
“There is so much opportunity within the healthcare industry and to be able to work for an organization like Signature HealthCARE that profoundly understands the strong correlation between the employee experience and the resident/patient experience, made this decision easy,” said LauBach. “I’m excited to be able to begin meeting the frontline stakeholders who are the heart and soul of our business.”
With over 30 years of experience in operations and human resources with large organizations such as UPS, Southwest Airlines, and entertainment and hospitality companies, LauBach stands on a deeply rooted principle that, where there is an ‘employee first’ culture, there is growth and sustainability. LauBach realizes continuing this kind of approach within Signature HealthCARE is more important than ever as staffing across the globe, particularly in the long-term care setting, is being challenged.
“I cannot express enough how excited I am to join Signature HealthCARE’s Human Resources team to help support their amazing team,” said LauBach. “I have prided myself, regardless of industry, in working for best-in-class organizations like Signature, to help reinforce and secure their valuable workforce. Doing this in the healthcare setting is more important than ever and the pinnacle of my career. My work experience lines up with Signature HealthCARE’s approach of stakeholders being more like family than employees. When a company develops that kind of experience for their employees, the employees reciprocate that experience by providing a family like experience for long-term care residents.”
LauBach has been recognized and awarded for building employee incentive and cultural programs that helped achieve high employee morale and is credited with being the architect of “Best To Work For” environments.
“Our stakeholders mean the world to us,” said Joe Steier, CEO and President of Signature HealthCARE. “That’s why we call them stakeholders instead of employees. They have a stake in what we do as a healthcare system committed to changing the landscape of healthcare. So, to add someone like Kawel, with his experience, passion, vision, and innovation to promote the stakeholder and resident experience, is a win for all of us.”
