Healthcare Industry Veteran Jackie Larson Named Avantas President

Pioneering Company Developing Workforce Analytics, Predictive Modeling, and Scheduling Strategies for Healthcare Providers

OMAHA, NE– Jackie Larson has been named president of Avantas, a leading provider of workforce management technology, services, and strategies for the healthcare industry.

Since joining Avantas in 2008, Larson has also served as senior vice president of client services. She has been the driving force in building out the company’s client management, analytics, and consulting groups into world-class teams providing guidance and support to clients on a wide range of issues, including workforce optimization, labor pool development, system integration, resource management, and business analytics. Avantas is an AMN Healthcare company.

Larson is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American Organization for Nurse Executives (AONE). Jackie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, and executive coursework at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Larson will take part in a Business Roundtable Discussion, March 9, at noon as part of the 2016 ANA Conference – Quality, Safety and Staffing, in Lake Buena Vista, FL. This is a moderator-driven forum focused on current trends and issues as well at the future of workforce management in healthcare.
