2022 HRO Today Forum

The 2022 HRO Today Forum took place May 2-4 in downtown Philadelphia.

In addition to another excellent event full of learning and networking, this year’s Forum also featured an in-person meeting of the Association’s North America Board of Advisors, where members discussed the creation of The HR Standards Board™.

Developed by the HRO Today Association’s Standards & Practices Committee,
The HR Standards Board™ will develop a body of standards governing HR partnerships. The HR Standards Board will:

  1. Provide a body of standards of performance and code of ethics to ensure the proper governance of an HR service and/or technology partnership
  2. Define the generally accepted practices to ensure a successful HR partnership
  3. Offer a glossary of terms
  4. Review grievances and helps to mediate HR partnership disputes when called upon

Association Members Honored at the 2022 CHRO of the Year Awards

Two leaders of C-TEN and the Association were honored at the 2022 CHRO of the Year Awards at this year’s Forum.

Cecilia McKenney, SVP and CHRO of Quest Diagnostics, was awarded the CHRO of the Year: Lifetime Achievement Award, and Kathleen Pai, Chief People Officer, was awarded the CHRO of the Year: Sustainable Workforce Award.

Forum Featured Half-Day C-TEN Retreat

Members of the Association’s C-TEN Network, the premier networking and professional development society for top HR leaders, met on May 2 at the HRO Today Forum for a stimulating and thought-provoking half-day retreat.

The retreat featured five guest speakers and ample opportunity for CHROs to learn from one another and discuss the topics keeping them up at night.
