2022 HRO Today Conference and Awards Was a Success!

CHRO Panel with Steve Eller, Maura Stevenson, and Elliot Clark

Earlier this week (November 16th), the HRO Today Association welcomed more than 150 attendees to its annual Conference and Awards Program, held virtually via Zoom. The event was highlighted by timely presentations, including:

  • Data & Expertise are key to Choosing the right HR Service Partner Wisely (presented by Zachary Misko, President, HRO Today– Member Services and Executive Director, HRO Today Global HR Association
  • How to Think About Effectiveness in Outsourcing Decisions (presented by Dr. Peter Cappelli, Director, Wharton Center for Human Resources)
  • CHRO Panel Discussion on the Intersection of HR and Employee Mental Health (speakers: Steven Eller, CHRO, Beacon Health System and Maura Stevenson, CHRO, MedVet; moderated by Elliot Clark, CEO, SharedXpertise)

All three sessions featured top-notch speakers and panelists who identified and discussed some of the most important trends in the HR industry. The program was recorded and we’re working on making at least some if not all of the recordings available to conference registrants and members in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to the Monday Membership Minute for more details.

The other significant highlight of the event was the presentation of the 2022 HRO Today Association Awards for the North American and EMEA regions. Upon receiving over 100 nominations over the past several months, 36 awards were presented to recipients in various team and individual categories. Click here to view a PDF of the award winner announcement slides that also includes success points that showcase a few reasons why the nominee stood out.

After we present the APAC Awards on December 15th,  our December newsletter will follow with more details about this year’s Awards program, how we are planning to leverage the great information provided by our nominees through our upcoming Recipes for Success program, and peek ahead at our 2023 awards nomination process.

[HR Table Talk] – The Journey to Harmonized Workforce Management is Real
December 13 | 11:00AM-12:00PM
(limited to 20 members – reserve your seat today)

Facilitated by Bruce Morton, Global Head of Strategy, Allegis Global Solutions

Current models for accessing talent are flawed. Key decisions about the type of resources needed to get work done are often made too early in the process. And old assumptions about talent create new pitfalls for current workforce strategies. But there’s a better solution focused on getting more done with less. Join our Table Talk to gain insights and strategies to rethink and redesign how work gets done while engaging with your peers on topics such as:

  • Breaking down desired business outcomes into their component tasks
  • Gaining data visibility to help you respond quickly to unexpected challenges
  • Accessing the right tools and support to prepare for near-term change and long-term transformation
